Detox-Friendly Digestive Tea: CCF Tea
One of my go-to Ayurvedic teas for cleansing and digestion is CCF Tea—Cumin, Coriander, and Fennel. This simple but powerful blend is known for its ability to:
✔ Support detoxification by flushing out toxins and excess water retention
✔ Boost digestion by kindling Agni (digestive fire) without overheating the system
✔ Reduce bloating and gas by aiding in the breakdown of food
✔ Balance all three doshas, especially Kapha in spring and Pitta in summer
How to Prepare CCF Tea
Ingredients:
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
4 cups water
Instructions:
In a small pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
Add the cumin, coriander, and fennel seeds.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and pour into your favorite mug.
How to Drink It:
Sip warm throughout the day, especially before meals to aid digestion or after meals to prevent bloating.
You can also store it in a thermos and drink it as your primary hydration while detoxing.
