I Am the Heart of Your Journey
I am a proud, bilingual Latina born and raised in Boston, MA, carrying the rich heritage of my Nicaraguan, Guatemalan, and Cuban roots. As a full-spectrum doula, Ayurvedic practitioner, herbalist, and abortion doula, I provide compassionate, holistic care for individuals and families throughout all phases of life, including birth, postpartum, abortion, and loss.
My doula journey began during the pandemic, supporting Spanish-speaking mothers through virtual prenatal groups. Recognizing the disparities in care for marginalized communities, I pursued doula training and founded Doulas Conectadas, a collective of bilingual doulas. Now based in Rhode Island, I am a board member of Doulas of Rhode Island, Co-chair of the Pregnancy & Postpartum Death Review Committee, and an advocate for Spanish-speaking families through various advisory boards. I am deeply committed to reproductive justice, ensuring equitable, respectful, and culturally attuned care for all families, especially those who have historically been marginalized.
My passion for holistic well-being stems from my own healing journey with Ayurveda after a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. This inspired me to leave the corporate world and embrace Ayurveda as a path to healing and transformation. I integrate Reiki into my practice, offering energy healing alongside my other services. Additionally, I am certified in Ayurvedic bodywork through the Jiva Institute in India and currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Health and Ayurvedic & Integrative Health to further expand my ability to serve.
I hold certifications as an Ayurvedic Consultant from the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, a Certified Herbalist from Farmacy Herbs, and a Full-Spectrum Doula from Birthing Advocacy Doula Training and the Commonsense Birth Institute. My work integrates cultural traditions, evidence-based practices, and personalized care to support emotional, physical, and spiritual health.
It is my honor to empower individuals and families, creating a space of healing, balance, and joy. Together, we thrive.
